Lake Lanier
Islands Resort offers spectacular, distraction-free seclusion

The Georgia Mountains Center encircles Roosevelt Square, the center
of the downtown historic district. It serves as a conference and entertainment
center for the northeast Georgia region.
The Gainesville Civic Center is located on Historic Green Street.
The restored colonial facility was built during the Great Depression
and fully renovated in 1992. It is home to the Gainesville Parks and
Recreation Department and has meeting rooms available for rental.

The Chattahoochee Country Club: founded in 1950 by some of Gainesville’s
most prestigious civic and cultural leaders, is a private Club situated
on Lake Sidney Lanier in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains
with easy access from downtown Gainesville. The Club features a Marina
with 152 boat slips, courtesy and gas docks, an extensive Tennis Complex
featuring hard and clay courts, an impressive Pool Pavilion and a
45,000 square foot Clubhouse, which houses a full Athletic Club, dining
