Lanier National Speedway, Georgia's only NASCAR asphalt short track,
opened its doors in 1982 and soon became known as a racing showplace.
Today, this premier short track continues its 20-year tradition by
hosting over 2,500 guests and over 100 competitors each week. Racers
come to Lanier from all over the southeast to compete for valuable
NASCAR points and the opportunity to move up to the NASCAR touring
series such as the Craftsman Trucks or Busch Series. Lanier also hosts
such notable touring series as the Southern All Star Stock Car Racing
Series, the USCS Outlaw Thunder Sprint Cars and the ASA Racing Series
which will hold a live TV event at Lanier in 2003. Lanier National
Speedway guests have the option of enjoying all the action in a family
atmosphere, from grandstand seating, track side-tier parking or VIP
Suites.
The modern RE/MAX Tower contains the100-person RE/MAX Suite, along
with eight personal VIP Suites. Each suite is equipped with air
conditioning, private restrooms, refrigerators, PA sound and a spectacular
view of the racing action. VIP Suites can be obtained on a nightly
or annual basis. No other short-track in the southeast has a comparable
facility.
Multiple racing divisions fill the Lanier National Speedway track
with excitement each week. Saturday night guests witness Pro Late
Models, Trucks, Sportsman, Modified Minis, Pure Stock Minis and the
crazy Pure Stock X-Karz. Gates open at 5pm on race day. Lanier National
Speedway also offers the 600 Racing Legends program for new racers

Road Atlanta is a multi-purpose motorsports facility that is utilized
more than 340 days per day for a wide variety of events, including:
- Professional and amateur auto and motorcycle racing event
- Panoz Racing School
- Kevin Schwantz Suzuki School
- Testing for professional and amateur racing teams
- Audi Driving Experience
- Commercial ad shoots for new car and product introductions
Now part of the Panoz Motor Sports Group, Road Atlanta is one of the
premier road racing facilities in the world. Millions of dollars have
been allocated since Don Panoz bought Road Atlanta in late 1996 in
order to achieve a perfect blend of safety for the race drivers and
comfort and enjoyment of the fans.
Sitting on 700 acres in Hall County, Road Atlanta features a challenging
2.54-mile, 12-turn Grand Prix course, plus a car control training
center that includes an autocross and skidpad.
Among the major events at Road Atlanta annually are the Audi presents
Petit Le Mans in October, The Mitty Challenge historic sports car
